Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Drealm app for iPhone (“Drealm”, “the app”) and the website drealm.app handle information. Drealm is developed by Valentyn Khutornenko (“we”, “us”), who is responsible for the processing described here.

The short version

  • You don’t need an account. Your dreams, photos and notes stay on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your private iCloud.
  • We use analytics and attribution services to understand how the app is used and how people find it. They don’t receive the content of your dreams.
  • Your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt.
  • Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.

1. Information you create in the app

Your dreams, the photos and videos you add to them, the text you write, your name, your visualisation sessions and your settings are stored locally on your device. We don’t have access to them.

If you turn on iCloud sync in the app settings, this data is also stored in your private iCloud database using Apple CloudKit, so it’s available on your other devices. It’s protected by your Apple Account and Apple’s Privacy Policy applies. We can’t access your private iCloud data.

2. Device permissions

The app asks for permissions only when you use the related feature. You can change them at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Photos from Unsplash

When you search for images inside the app, your search query is sent to the Unsplash API and the images you choose are downloaded from Unsplash. Unsplash processes this information under its own Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics and attribution

To improve the app and measure how people discover it, the app uses the services below. They may collect:

These services don’t receive the photos, text or other content of your dreams.

5. Tracking and your advertising identifier

The app asks for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. Only if you allow tracking, your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) may be shared with AppsFlyer and Meta to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. If you don’t allow it, the identifier is not available to the app. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store and processed by Apple. We don’t receive your name, payment card or billing address. The app receives information about your transactions from Apple, such as the product, purchase date and subscription status, to unlock Premium features.

drealm.app doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising. Fonts are served from our own website. The “Download on the App Store” badge is loaded from Apple’s servers. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the website securely.
